Last time I had a brand new set of Swiss I wasn't ready for the speed and broke my two front teeth within the first few minutes of riding. I have a set of Bones Swiss bearings from 1987. Yes, that's 1987. Almost 20 years old. They are STILL being used today, and with the same performance that they had when I got them! They are cleaned about every two weeks, and the only problem I've ever had was when I would bend one of the seals. Thankfully, you people are of the wonderful sort and send me new seals when I need them. Of course, I have since bought a set of REDS as well as another set of Swiss (a man can't skate the same deck all the time), but when I want a sure thing, I ride that first set I got back in the day. Swiss are hands down the best bearings out there.
