Bones Swiss Bearings set the standard for quality and precision in the industry and and well worth the money spent on them vs buying cheaper competitors. With proper maintenance they will last for years. (Posted on 4/22/2022)

Whups these are the greatest Review by GC

Shhh... I wrote a review, including my 30yr-old perspective of the OG PP Swiss bearings. But it was directed towards the wrong bearings... still, same as I said there, it was nice to pull an OG deck (complete w/ G&S chromoly trucks! lol) out and w/o maintenance, it skated. I attribute that most nicely toward the maple being good & properly stored, the wheels maintaining their hardness, and most importantly, the bearings to allow me to get from here to there, mindless tricks being gratis ;-) lol. The way it worked was bc the board moved predictably... after all these years & w/o maintenance... it responded as it did pre-storage 20+ yrs ago (even if I personally did not). I'm sure PP has changed their ways, but I prefer to hope not bc getting on a board & going down the street is as fun as ever; I just happened to do it that night on some Bones Swiss 6. 20+ yrs later lol. 30 years of skating... Review by GC

Look, there's no need to get me wrong: I'm not hard-core & haven't been more about half of my life. But my second-favorite setup was when a schoolmate sold me his used PP MM w/ trackers and... Swiss Bones. My fav was when I kept the McG & simply moved the Swiss Bones over to my parent-bought new board (a silver S&S), which replaced the low-end, slow-roll skate shop generic: now I had a smaller board and could do flips easier + it wasn't up to me to get to speed... it was up to me to slow down the speed (much easier). I'm sure as anyone that PP has changed their game over the years, but even when I was rolling gullwings and Hosoi or Kendall, all but one set (of 10+ Swiss) has been really good to me. For setups that I don't break out but once every 2-3 yrs... low mileage, as it were... the speed & predictability remains the same.

PS: this comment is NOT part of a promotional... just realized I'm here spending the $wiss buck$ to buy a known product & I've never bothered to review one of my all-time favs. (Posted on 2/21/2022)

These are the best along with the 6 ball. I’ve had all of them except the ceramics and these are my favorite for street skating. The 6 ball is just as good if not better but I feel like it’s better suited for transition skating. If you can’t afford these get the super reds, they’re the closest to these. (Posted on 10/9/2021)

Lower resistance makes it easier for a beginner Review by Jon

After seeing what a difference faster wheels made on a pump track, I bought some Swiss. A buddy at the skatepark runs Reds. He let me try his board in the pool and it was noticeably slower than mine, despite having harder wheels. I'm not a skilled rider, so the difference is significant when trying to build speed in a pool. (Posted on 8/21/2021)
